Janus New boss of north desert

Passing by the sphinx that guards the access gates to the northern desert, a mysterious old man keeps vigil on a promontory amid the ruins of the ancient empire of Dasmanpur, surviving unscathed from the demons and abominations that roam the area. He claims that the tyranny of the twelve elders stripped him of his chronomancy powers and asks passing adventurers for help in recovering them. But is it really a good idea for a single individual to have the power to alter history, or would this result in the end of times?
